About Valentino

Valentino Garavani studied and learned his designer craft in the 1950s, largely through Paris; ironically, in part, at Balenciaga. Frustrated, he returned to Rome to get his parents’ support in his own retail spot, and had his first breakthrough fashion show in 1962 Florence.
